Flash Nostalgia is a sudden rush of sadness you get when you experience something (typically a song or an old picture/video) that reminds you of your past. You reminisce about the old times, good or bad, and wish you could slow down or reverse time and make better choices.
Did you hear that they played Hey Soul Sister at the assembly yesterday? haven’t heard that song since like 2010. Shit gave me flash nostalgia.

The instantaneous feeling of power and authority felt by an individual who has just been promoted at work or recently accomplished some mildly difficult feat. This individual generally tries to appoint menial tasks which are now "below" him/her to his/her peers.
