A misconception of the word "cymbal" on a drum set. It is normally used by people who show outwardly to peers that they have experience on the drums but in which, they don't.
Person 2: Hey, since you are so smart, name the drum set pieces.
Person 1: The Snare, the bronze thing......
Person 2: its called a cymbal.
