Stank stick

A person who goes around stirring up trouble and discord for no apparent reason, even when it is actively working against their own self interests; a relentless gossip determined to spread their own rumours, lies, speculations, and anything else they can get their hands on just to upset and agitate others; a one-person propaganda machine with no overarching aims or intentions beyond immediately creating drama and confusion.

Lee told Mary that he heard her ex-boyfriend just got divorced and figures that her ex-boyfriend really wants Mary back, and that’s why he told a few friends and specifically said not to tell Mary; now Mary is stalking her ex on social media because she’s obsessed with getting him back.
