A derogatory term usually given to white men over the age of 18. This category of fine gentlemen have at least one facial hair oddity, have a slight relgious tendency, stalk anyone that interests him, try to conform by following everyone around, watch pornography in plain view of others, injure themselves regularly in circumstances that ordinary people would not, and dismiss all advice that could be helpful to his unfortunate social situation.

Doing a Trump

Used to describe an act of callow stupidity bereft of forethought against expert advice.

When British Gen. Montgomery decided to attack up Highway 69 toward Arnhem in 1944 he completely failed to appreciate that the road leading through the planned route was only two lanes wide, partly raised above a surrounding flat terrain of polder. The ground on either side of the highway was too soft to support tactical vehicle movement and observation would be seriously restricted in the Fall. He was doing a Trump when he made that decision and ignored contrary advice from the Dutch Military.
