In ufology, a term for any "other-worldly" metals, alloys, substances, and artifacts allegedly retrieved by military and intelligence agencies from crashed UFOs. Once retrieved, the materials get stored in undisclosed warehouses and held for top secret scientific study. The efforts to covertly gather, store, and study such materials is believed to have been going on since the 1947 Roswell Incident.
