Chumming

Metaphorically spreading the remains of a dead fish in political waters to catch a live shark. Typically a last ditch political strategy- assassinate character by publicly broadcasting salacious, unverified and unproveable accusations - typically based on events 20+ years old - to see if it will generate newer copy cat accusations. Hopefully, from younger, hotter accusers.

Senator Maxipad is chumming the waters to see if she can kill Judge McWhiteywhite’s Supreme Court nomination.

Typically referring to someone who is a bummy ass hole as a bucket of fish guts.

Often times these people are Honda civic drivers.

"Hey that chum bucket in the Honda civic just cut me off."

"Get on xbox Logan, dont be a chum bucket"

Not a simp but will get the girl. He is a good basketball player and a stoner. He gets all the girls but focuses on one. He is a pimp and would ride with Co-Mar anytime. Brings all the fun, happiness, jokes, and green to the party. He a Schwibloo and Lemur. Has simped before but has devoted the rest of his life to the boys and will never simp again , maybe. Facebook Chumming

The practice of luring friends (Facebook Sharks), by throwing "chum" into the water. Chum usually consists of political or religious comments... far too tempting for a Shark to ignore. The water in this case would be status updates and walls.
