Dip skip and flip

Originally found in Snoop Dogg’s song “Gz and Hustlas”, the term became popular in the Akron, Ohio in the mid to late 90’s.

The term was and still is used as an exit phrase in the greater Akron region when leaving a group or function.

One throws in a dip (chewing tobacco), skips to their car, and flips off (gestures with their middle finger) said group they just left.

“Yo you wanna go with us to the skate park and rip some darts?”

“Nah bro I’m about to dip skip and flip”

idiot skips

Noun:

The curving dashed lines on pavement leading from multiple turn lanes to an intersecting roadway, indicating the boundaries of the turn lanes through the intersection. Often blatantly ignored by inattentive motorists, leading to avoidable side-impact collisions.

Why do you guys call them idiot skips anyway? Oh yeah, I get it now.
