A forced laugh trying to make someone who told a bad joke not feel embarrassed. The jaw-cake makes the person who is forcing a laugh appear to have a delighted jawline as if eating cake.
My boyfriend said a jaw-cake to my family at the dinner table. It was a little odd because his jokes are usually funny.
