POG Bait

A military term that is used to describe anything that makes a POG, or a Personnel Other than Grunt, feel better about their military service.

While some military members have violent acts of service and heroism, or even sweat on their brow to validate their military service, POG Bait serves as a tangible reminder, such as a challenge coin, or a certificate of commendation, that the service member was exceptionally good at their low-risk desk job, and should feel very very good about themselves.

"The Battalion Commander gave me challenge coin because I have been doing such a good job at filling out this Excel Document!"

"Yeah dude... couldn't you be doing that in a corporate office? That's just POG Bait!"

Pog

Pog is a term referring to a fat specimen. Some argue it's use is restricted to animals however many use it to reference people too. Pog can also be pronounced with a low, elongated moaning 'o' sound such as 'puuuuuuhg'. A pog is often long or tall enough for the fat to be spread out making it seem less obese and more overall chubby. They are a hybrid of beauty and obesity.
