Valley Ride

A popular pastime of most of the local teenage population, a Valley Ride is the act of smoking marijuana while driving around a portion of Pennsylvanian and Delawarean back roads known as "the Valley".

Valley Rats

Someone who lives Lynn Valley North Vancouver and never leaves the valley. Typically from Sutherland or Argyle. They are reckless trashy and out late being a menace to society. Using lingo such as Dons, finesse, boonk, boys, or full send. Everyone from the valley spends 4 to 5 hours a day in dons (Mcdonalds) and they all know the homie franie G. Every Valley rat knows winners is the finesse plug and they all vape. Valley rats are usually reckless and loud.

Uncanny Valley

First theorized by Japanese roboticist Masahiro Mori in 1970, the Uncanny Valley basically states that the closer a robot or other nonhuman entity gets to resembling a human, the more humans will like and empathize with it.

However, there is a point in development where humans instead become strongly repulsed by the barely-human robot/entity. Fortunately, this effect fades as the robot/entity becomes less distinguishable from a human.

Although hotly debated, the theory is present in many sci-fi movies and the like, and has been used to explain people's reactions to some computer generated characters.

I can't get into "Rumble Roses" because the girls just don't look quite right to me. I guess it's the Uncanny Valley at work.

Hill Valley Clock Tower

During the act of "doggy style" you increase your thrust speed (to simulate getting up to 88 mph) and right before you climax you scream "1.21 Giggawatts" and promptly discharge a taser to your buttocks, thus transferring the electrical current to your partner, sending them back to the future.
