Trying to explain something in a text message but the other person isn't catching on.

Textplanation

To explain ones action via text as opposed to a phone call due to embarrassment or for emotional detachment.

I didn't hear back from her until today but it was nothing more than a textplanation, not sure if I should take her seriously

Textplination

A term used for either clarifying, or further bungling your previous text to someone.
Often used to clarify typos, inadvertent texts you intended to send to someone else, or for apologizing for previous day's drunk-texting episode. For typos, an asterisk is usually indicated to fix one word (*example) For other purposes, endless rambling can ensue.

Textplination at it's finest: "Hey reverend, sorry about inviting you bar hopping lol, see you at church Sunday :)"

Texplanation

When your significant other isn't making any damn sense in their text messages, so you have to call or manually track them down, show them your phone, and demand to know what the hell they're trying to tell you.

Bitch was talking crazy, so I had to go over there and get a Texplanation.

Texplanation

Following a textmergency, an excuse that a person formulates in order to explain their unfortunate message. This often comes off as lame, but can be convincing if carefully concocted.

She did it!
Now she can delete the text.
She won’t need to come up with a texplanation.
