'did you see those darkies that just moved in next door? there goes the neighborhood.' - replace 'darkies' with 'white folk', and you've got 'gentrification'

ventrification

The purification of vent gases. Most often associated with odor removal in plumbing vent stacks or "stink pipes" by vent pipe filters.

The ventrification of all the schools in our district led to a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions.

The overall result was a cleaner odor free environment more conducive to a healthier and more enjoyable learning experience.

Anti-gentrification

The act of keeping a certain areas property tax low instead of a percentage of what properties around them have sold for. A grandfather clause allowing lower income people to keep current tax rate until their property is sold.

With the increased amount of people moving to Austin the state could benefit from a anti-gentrification law that allows homeowners who have lived there more than 20 years to keep their existing tax rate.

Under equal rights with dynamic social classes, the massive improvement of a run-down urban area to the degree it is fit for gentlemen.

Thanks to gentrification, I no longer have to look at graffiti, step over urine and homeless people, and cling to pepper spray every time I walk here.

Ventrification

Ventrification is air purification specifically related to odor removal from plumbing or septic tank air vents. Most often associated with the odor elimination of vent stack gases by multi-stage zeocarbon filtration.

Many potential customers quickly drove away once after one whiff outside our seafood restaurant. After ventrification of our plumbing stacks we were able to breathe easier and our customer base doubled in less than a week.

This is the process of installing extra security or adding even more protection to something which has multiple layers of security already. This also means that it will suffer from the unwanted side effect of attracting even more attention to itself from thieves/hackers/invaders etc. because it will prove to them that this is an even more valuable target than once thought.

"We have analysed your existing security configuration for this location and we are recommending that as the locals are very inept at breaking into sites it would only cause sentrification of the site, attracting even more attention..
