A realitively new word used (consciously or subconsciously) to spread shame, fear of sex and sexuality, especially in individuals that a particular society, in a given time and place, doesn't approve of having a sexuality, sexual desires, sexual relationships or to be desired sexually.
Sexualization is also the idea that biological urges and normal mating needs are somewhat wrong.
When a man sees a woman and thinks of/feels for her sexually, it is perfectly normal for science, but idiotic feminism is implying this is rape or abuse of some sort, even if the female is not approached.
This mass-hysteria is unforunately spreading in a shame and fear-mongering epidemic that divides and complicates society unnecessarily, courtesy of post-modernism.
This is also an inheritance of religions such as Catholic Christianity but ironically it's used mostly by Atheist Females.
Studying the origins of family, human societies through history and different cultures is a possible antidote to such nonsense, although again ironically most females who use this term are highly educated.
The hypocrisy includes: unconscious racism by people who complain about racism; sexual repression by progressives; heterophobia by people who complaing about homophobia; sexism by people who complain about sexism; lack of self-awareness and knowledge by people claiming to be "woke"
