Die Darstellung des Japaners Mr. Yunioshi (gespielt von Mickey Rooney) in dem Hollywood-Film "Breakfast at Tiffany´s" mit Audrey Hepburn. Die Figur des Mr. Yunioshi repräsentiert eine racially offensive, d.h. die Figur wird äußerst lächerlich dargestellt, spiegelt ein beleidigendes Bild eines japanischen Menschen und diskriminiert damit eine ganze Ethnie. In den USA waren Japaner aufgrund der Ereignisse im 2. Weltkrieg schlecht angesehen und wurden zu einem Feindbild, das in etlichen Hollywood-Produktionen zu erkennen ist.
