An individual (usually working in a call center) who understands people only know what they are told. Consequently reality is controlled.

The realitician knows that despite the fact he failed to enter the customer's PO yesterday he can put it up today and blame the order entry system (or shipping, or the fax machine...).

Realist

A realist (by definition) is a person completey unbiased. Something we should all stride for. There are people that are so biased that literaly nothing can sway there way of thinking. If they think the sky is green god himself couldn't make them think any differently. Unfortunately nobody on earth is a full realist because we all have some level of bias. But we should always stride to be as close to reality as possible.

A realist see things as they are with zero bias and deal with the situation as is.
Some people see a glass half emty or half full, a realist sees a glass that has a milk level perfectly between the top of the glass to the bottom.
