Get the LeNerdo mug.Van Lente Rape refers to when a character in fiction is raped. Said rape is later retconned to either not haviing been rape, or said rape being consensual. Gets it name when writer Fred Van Lent wrote a rape scene into The Amazing Spider-Man #605, and then due to backlash came out and said there was no rape, just some kissing on the kitchen floor.
