1) A description of the State whose name is internationally recognised as Ireland.

2) The name of the association football (soccer) team which represents Ireland.

Ireland is a democratic republic; in 1948 the Government of Ireland declared that Ireland was a Republic. In consequence Ireland was expelled from the British Commonwealth as at that time it was not possible to be both a republic and a member of the Commonwealth. The rules changed when Britain withdrew from the Indian subcontinent and both Pakistan and India were allowed to become part of the Commonwealth as Republics.

The republic of Ireland was declared in 1948.

One of the few respectable countries left in Europe, Ireland suffered many years under the harsh rule of the evil British. However, by 1900's, the Irish were fed up and whooped their oppressors asses. The British government, being the fuckups that they are, divided Ireland into the Republic of Ireland and North Ireland (Ulster). Efforts from the fair and respectable Sinn Fein and other nationalist parties, to unite the island that is rightfully theirs, have been unsuccessful thanks to British vote "miscounting" and scare tactics.

Irish are often blamed for "harboring terrorists". However, the IRA is a freedom fighting organization who targets military more than civilian targets. British people, being the anti-American assholes they are, will always blame them getting their asses whooped by the IRA on the US because of rightful funds being sent to the IRA from businesses in Boston and New York.

The North of Ireland

"The North of Ireland" (pronounced, "Tha Nairth af Airland.") Is a name used by Irish Nationalists and Republicans to refer to Northern Ireland. It is so called to attempt to ignore British rule over Northern Ireland and instead refer to it as part of the Republic of Ireland.

Irelyn is a really kind genuine soul. Not to mention that she’s super friendly as well. Irelyn is not like everyone else. She can be really funny at times while other times she can be quiet. Irelyn doesn’t want anything to do with negative situations or drama. She is a hard worker and will do the job right. She’s very athletic and mature to know what to do in worldly situations. Never tell Irelyn what to do or talk bad about her because karmas a bitch. Irelyn is very outgoing when she wants to be but won’t deal with fake people. Irelyn has a beautiful soul. Irelyn is always so fun to be around.

She is selfless and always ready to give up something to make you happy. Irelyn is also very determined and often gets what she wants. Except with men. Irelyn is often very awkward and can have trouble making social decisions. But Irelyn makes a great girlfriend! She loves having fun and is extremely cuddly. She will always have an open heart and mind and will support and guide you through any hard times. Overall Irelyn makes a great sibling, friend, and girlfriend.
