Something of an extremely disturbing nature, capable of inducing nightmares or other trauma. This is often something not meant to be disturbing. Popularized by "Mystery Science Theater 3000" and, later, James Lileks.

For some people, that S from Hell is pure nightmare fuel.

A stretch of the arms out to the side or over the head done by criminals, usually accompanied with a quick scan of the surrounding area. This is usually done once they know the gig is up, and they are looking to take off on foot.
