Release the Cracken

A warning given just prior to a major release of gas. Only to be used in extreme situations in which the sudden loud noise of the flatulence would otherwise frighten the unsuspecting people nearby.

Realizing that this was to be no ordinary fart, Todd made the announcement in his best Scottish accent "Release the Cracken", giving passersby a moment to shield their faces, mouth, nose, ears, etc.

1. An obscure false reference to cover up one's complete an utter lack of knowledge. 2. A statement based upon one's expertise on knowing next to nothing, but willing to argue to defend their point.

When asked where snails come from Molly quickly pulled a Crackenism out of her ass by saying "snails come from attic moisture, and were put there by Ron Perlman while he was shooting a Woody Allen film in the 70's".

1. When someone or a group of people are cracking up they are laughing hysterically, non-stop, and they might even be laughing so hard that they are crying b/c it is so funny.

Did I tell you what happened the other day? This woman was in the elevator with me and Tom, and she farted. Dude! it was an SBD! You could barely hear it, but I knew it wasn't me, and Tom looked at the lady in front of us - like eeeeeeew! I couldn't wait to get out of that elevator; it was so bad that it burnt the hair in my nostrils! We were cracken up about that all freakin' day! I still can picture her hahahaha! TFF!
