temporary pull-up

The act of loosely raising one’s pants, capris, or shorts, along with any undergarments, in order to switch stalls in an empty public restroom due to the absence of toilet paper in the original stall. Persons performing the temporary pull-up must do so in such a way as to minimize drippage or the transfer of poo particles onto his or her clothing.
Jill’s search for a clean toilet seat landed her in a stall with no toilet paper, so she had to do the temporary pull-up in order to find a stall with toilet paper.

templar

Despite what these guys may think, real Templars had nothing to do with Star Craft. Templar was the title for members of the Knights of the Temple. These warrior elites were similar to the Hospitallers and the Teutonic knights, in that they were extremely skilled knights that fought against the Saracens during the Crusades.

The Knights Templar

Officially endorsed by the Roman Catholic Church around 1129, the Order became a favoured charity throughout Christendom and grew rapidly in membership and power. Templar knights, in their distinctive white mantles with a red cross, were among the most skilled fighting units of the Crusades.5 Non-combatant members of the Order managed a large economic infrastructure throughout Christendom,6 innovating financial techniques that were an early form of banking,78 and building fortifications across Europe and the Holy Land.

The Templars' existence was tied closely to the Crusades; when the Holy Land was lost, support for the Order faded. Rumours about the Templars' secret initiation ceremony created distrust, and King Philip IV of France, deeply in debt to the Order, took advantage of the situation. In 1307, many of the Order's members in France were arrested, tortured into giving false confessions, and then burned at the stake.9 Under pressure from King Philip, Pope Clement V disbanded the Order in 1312. The abrupt disappearance of a major part of the European infrastructure gave rise to speculation and legends, which have kept the "Templar" name alive into the modern day.

temporary break

a break in a relationship where one person (or both) wants to stay away from the other for a period of time to find out who they are, to clear things up, or anything else. They usually end up with broken relationships, and there's a chance of never getting back together, depending. Temporaries are usually a soft way of saying "it's over."
