sell out
People who jump on the bandwagon. Who listen to a song on the radio, decide they like it, and then suddenly call themselves punk. Where were you ten years ago, when we were skating around listening to punk rock. As i recall, you told us that our music s*#ked. One who can't think for themselves.

the truth is..... all your definitions are wrong... you have to realize the difference between capitalism and selling out... selling out would be a punk band who says " fuck the man" then in 5 years goes and works for " the man" that is selling out.... 50 cent coming from the hood to making clothes and drinks and films with gunit in it is capitalism... that is making money by any which way you want and not having any limits. so you take advantage of that privliage and make your mother fucking money ....
get your mother fucking cake up and stop hating on people who are gettin thier cake up.... and by the way green day sucks period they have bad music regaurdless.

An urban myth given by people who have nothing better to do than slag off people in the music world who have found a way of making money. Selling out usually involves a rock band being played on the radio. Even though the songs sound the same, people don't really care. if its on the radio, it sucks, even thought it has been liked before. It is used by the following people:
1) small minded teenagers who decide things aren't cool cause more than one person listens to them
2) rock mags like kerrang who decide that bands who are liked by more than one person are scum of the earth (but in nicklebacks case, they were right. That band really does suck)
