Posttraumatic Clown Disorder

A potentially crippling psychological disorder resulting from frightening experiences, usually suffered in childhood, with dangerous clowns.

The clowns were always so friendly at first and then there was this weird thing, like a sudden switch that would occur; I can see all their faces distorted in my mind and the trigger is often just a little circus music or carnival sounds and I am right back there all over again thanks to my Posttraumatic Clown Disorder!

playing position

usually refers to the storage of a stringed instrument (i.e. guitar, violin). When resting, a stringed instrument kept within a case in the playing position may stay in tune more effectively, since its parts will have less adjusting to do when the instrument is being played.

Guitarists should keep their instruments in a hard case, storing it long-ways in the playing position so that the instrument looks just like it would if it were being held and played.

binge posting

When someone posts on Facebook every five minutes throughout the day to complain/rant or tell us everything they have done, read, eaten, bought, seen, heard, etc during the course of the day. Their friends' news feeds end up filled with this person's constant posting, most of it extremely uninteresting.

Friend 1: Dude, I had to hide Jenny from my feed with all her political posts. She's just too out there for me.
Friend 2: Yeah, she's been binge posting about that stuff forever.
