Don't start the next season off crushed, finish the entire season before you go into the offseason, even if you dont make the playoffs.

Some people would believe they're not shit if they don't win every single playoff game or olympic event if they listened too closely to what the announcer or people like the announcer said.

Sports playoffs

If sports are really just games, and the planet revolves around the sun, and not sports, then what is really at stake in the playoffs? If you take enough things in life seriously already, you know that because none of the players are dying in the games, there is nothing to have a sense of urgency or desperation in life. You can't take trophies or rings with you when you pass, so none of it really matters.

Sports and sports playoffs are the last thing in life to have a sense of urgency in life about, or even take seriously, and yet a lot of people still treat sports events like the most important thing in life and the world. Somebody that thinks a team needs more of a sense of urgency to win a stupid fucking ball game because it's the playoffs is not a serious person, just an uber competitive hype minded person. In reality sports playoffs are not a big deal.
