The origin story of ‘Lil Meow Meow’:
It’s September 2017 and BTS have released Love Yourself: Her and are having a comeback show on Mnet.
During the show, there’s a behind the scenes clip of Jungkook wandering around BigHit while filming. He finds Yoongi taking a little nap in a massage chair. Jungkook films him and we see Yoongi through the camera. Yoongi wakes up for a second, looks at the camera, and goes back to his nap.
An army removed the original audio from that clip and replaced it with the audio from a video wherein a man thought a cat had died by the side of the road and referred to the cat as “Lil Meow Meow”. In the video, the cat is asleep, looks up at the man, and stretches while the man says “my bad lil meow meow, I thought you was dead”.
This audio over BTS’ clip made it seem like Jungkook was the man talking and Yoongi was “Lil Meow Meow”.
Since then armys have referred to Yoongi as Lil Meow Meow as a reference to that edit.

Meow Meow is a nick name for Mephedrone which is actually plant food, but commonly bought online and used as a substitute for ecstasy.
Stores like www.plant-food.net sell this as plant food, yet it can be bought freely and used (wrongly so) as a drug.
Another nick name for the drug/plant food is "bubbles", this seems to be the street name for the substance in Scotland.
