Gut Shoot 'Em at the Border

Phrase that was commonly used by Idahoans in the late 1970's to refer to the Californians that were ascending on Idaho. Neither the practice nor the term will likely come back into vogue as there are now more Californians in Idaho - look at Coeurdifornia for instance - than there are Idahoans. Gut-shooting may not be legal, but many of them off themselves when they become fatalities on the Goat Trail, Idaho's Highway 95 and one of the nation's 9 deadliest highways.

In the 1970's, "Gut Shoot 'Em at the Border" bumper stickers were common on Idahoans vehicles.

gut bomb

A usually very tasty super-sized fast food or greasy spoon diner food item that, when ingested, immediately explodes in your gut, decimating your stomach lining. The item usually has a very short (but painful) residence time in your digestive tract before performing a rapid exit to the outside world, and being released back into the wild (e.g., the toilet).

Phil: I'm going to Estelle's for one of those triple decker gut bombs with peanut butter and bacon toppings.
Wayne: Three hamburger patties? Donno if my stomach can handle that at my age? For chrissakes, I'm lucky if I can down a single.
Phil: But you have to go for it, it's the ultimate gut bomb, and you only live once!

gut truck

A truck that provides food services to workplaces or other gathering places. The food is typically vending machine fare such as cans of soda and bottles of tea, as well as bags of snack foods or jerky. Often a warming oven keeps a number of premade hamburgers, hot dogs, and/or pizza slices ready for consumption.

The quality of the food is typically low, and prices high compared to other purchase options.

On our afternoon break we went out to the gut truck and got a bottle of coke and a nasty reheated burger.

gut butt

Occurring mostly with women, It's a phenomenon that occurs due to having a fat stomach and weak and flabby obliques muscles, often leading to a sagging appearance on the sides, but a upward bridging point under the navel, creating a "butt" appearance. Similar to a bumstache. The size of the gut butt varies based on the circumference of the individual.

It is not uncommon for those suffering from gut butt to have a stomach than their actual butt. Gut butt may be the result of an uncontrolled fupa, but it does not have to be in origin.

Man, have you seen Nancy lately? She's gotten fat, dawg! I mean, huge! Look at her fupa! She's gotten so big, she got gut butt!

Adjective to describe something so painfully emotional, and tragic, that your stomach feels knotted. It relates to feelings of guilt, sadness and devastated sympathy.

The really tragic suicide of ten year old Ashlynn Conner, from Illinois, suffering after being bullied, was described as 'gut-wrenching'.

gut punch feeling

that feeling when your just chilling and someone tells you something you really did not want to know or you see something you wish you would not have or something hella shitty happens and it results in a feeling as if someone punched your gut, almost feels as though you are going to throw up (can also make ur heart hurt if its really bad)
