lyric fillers

Meaningless words found mostly in rap and pop songs to keep a song from falling apart or to disguise low music value of the song. Lyric fillers are usually repeated in a song.

examples of lyric fillers include:

yeah
come on
go
yo
yep
let's go
huh!
that's right

My God! How many "yeah, yeah!" lyric fillers can that Usher song have!

"That new Fergie song is so cheap! Like, half tha song is lyric fillers".

filler-inner

Someone who either voluntarily or involuntarily gives information to another person. They are in charge of "filling in" the other person on what is happening.

As a resident of another state, Shea is my filler-inner by letting me know what happens in the area she lives.

Seat-filler

The people in your class who never do anything gossip-worthy and therefore are just there to fill the seats. These people may also be called hoverers. They know everything but do nothing.

Georgia: "Leah just stans around us while we eat lunch. I feel like she knows more about me than I know about myself"
Amy: "Yeah she's such a seat-filler!"

Filler

A member of a social group who has little/no popularity and is merely involved to make numbers, rather than to add to the group. Fillers have no intellectual or comedy value and any attempted input is usually ignored or completely disregarded. A Filler is the sort of person who you wouldn't be seen with dead.

Woman: who's that random bloke stood behind watching us?
Bloke: dunno, just some filler!

Bloke 2: Dunno, he's game for filling gaps!

Status Filler

term used to describe the status update of one who is not witty enough to come up with an original thought, but instead fills in a song lyric or famous quote. "Status Fillers" are used by, but not limited to: bored college student, drunk sorority girl, Glenn Beck (all of Fox News actually), guidos, and all religions (they are most likely to quote something out of a fairy tale book)

Idiot 1:"Extraordinary Girl" and "Are We The Waiting" from American Idiot (Green Day's album released in 2004) are just fillers.

filler friend

An acquaintance that you invite to important functions such as weddings and baby showers, but wouldn't normally hang out with otherwise. Like a carnation is a filler flower in a bouquet, the filler friend gives out the illusion that you have more friends than you actually do.

Since my fiance invited all of his hockey team to our wedding, I sent out an invitation to all of my filler friends so that I won't look like a loser with no friends at my wedding.
