DURT (slang)is raw, gritty rock n'roll with a hard edge, a flare for sarcasm, and a desire to party. NECK signifies a type or class of person (ie. redNECK, rougNECK, boatNECK, etc). Durtneck(s) are New York City based people.
Jullie, Malia, Trish and Shirley think that music today is too contrived and uni-dimentional. When they go out they want to feel the music not just stand there like statues and politely applaud, they want to rock. They are such DURTNECKS!

In fact, English is a dialect of this ancient language. Original Durch differs from English in that the vowels are pronounced differently.
