Get the POGmug. Person Other than Grunt. In the US Army, a POG is any soldier who isn't Infantry (nicknamed Grunt). It is a derogatory name often yelled at these soldiers because POGs often sit in air conditioned offices and don't hump it in the field or see combat. Infantryman can be identified by wearing a blue cord on there dress uniform and/or a rifle on there combat uniform. POGS will not wear a blue cord and will not have rifles and possibly a knife instead.
"Fuckin POG!" The infantryman yelled in unison at the fat soldiers drinking green bean as they left the wire.
