Internet slang that consists of two letters that are intended to show the expression of extreme laughter. Usually used when someone tells an extremely funny joke or meme, but can't express their feelings because they're behind a screen. You don't see this often in 2021+ because most people type/ send emojis instead.

XD is a face emoji meant to show others that you take something funny. It consist of the letter X bein the eyes and the letter D representing a mouth. This will hopefully be more used than the accronym known as lol.
