If put on his head, the word pepsi can be read as "isded". Sparking the use as synonym for "to die".
Most commonly used in the context of videos showing people in accidents, be it by own doing or simply bad luck. For example if the outcome and survival of the involved person is unclear, a frequent question in the comments would be "He/She pepsi?"- " Yeah, he/she definitely pepsi."
No direct connection to the phrase "he/she commit die", albeit often used in similar circumstances.

I did 10 lines of pepsi the other night and got kicked out of the club cause the bouncer figured I had to be on something after I power-stepped through a crowd of people, knocking 3 people down, while yelling something unintelligible on my way to the dance floor.

Condition when life is no longer available. Upside down pepsi reads as "is ded". Popularised in forums like 9gag.
