The Jinks Effect

1) Meteorological (most common association):
Extremely severe and inclement weather. In particular, when bad weather comes as a surprise following an optimisitc forecast.

2) A person or thing that is believed to bring bad luck (Jinks or Jinx)

3) A condition or period of bad luck that appears to have been caused by a specific person or thing.

The sudden and surprising change in weather that resulted in the tsunami is thought to have been caused by The Jinks Effect.

The Nirvana Effect

A self coined theory in which an object or thing loses all likability due to much discussion of said object or thing.

Named after the event when a certain person spoke about Nirvana too much, causing it to not be likable anymore.

Person A: "I love this car so much."

Person B: "I used to like it but now I don't."

Person A: "Why not?"

Person B: "The Nirvana Effect"

The Byrnesian Effect

Similar to the Butterfly Effect, the Byrnesian Effect is set in motion by just one individual whose actions are so immensely vague and confusing that others are deeply affected by them.

It is defined by the overwhelming state of complete bewilderment the victim experiences, questioning their own purpose and existence, abandoning all commitments and duties that were once regarded as important.

While its origins can be found in Atlantis, FL, the Byrnesian Effect can be felt worldwide as it transcends all space and time.

The Byrnesian Effect is so powerful that, once in motion, wives in Africa abandon all commitments leaving their families never to be seen again.

Marco Meyer effect

The Marco meyer effect comes from the early version of Marco meyer's.
Tracing back dates as far as the year 400 bc. This disease are an intense Lust for the smell of other individuals farts.

If one ever comes upon the rare "being"called marco meyer do not , fart.. for he will sniff you out. If seduced , do not make eye or butthole movement.
They can be trapped with fresh jarts (fart jars) but be carefull , for once you poop he needs a scoop.

Certy guy effect

When a person with a lot of respect and notoriety (a certy guy) is around and people who are usually quiet decide to act hard and beg them to impress and gain their respect.

THE CERTY GUY EFFECT:
A regular guy: “That guy looks like Henry the eighth”
Everyone: *cricket noises*
Certy guy: “hey that guy looks like Henry the eighth”

Everyone: “HAHAHAHHAHA SOOO FUNNNY YOU LEGEND WOW HOW DID YOU NOTICE THAT HAHAHAHAHHA CAN I SUCK YOU D**K!!!”

The Northernlion Effect

Watching someone struggle and try to incorrectly solve / play / use a simple puzzle / game / item for so long, that you get enraged and obtain the same puzzle / game / item just to solve it, just to satisfy your need for the easier solution, which you figured out while watching the person.

"Holy crap, I was watching Northernlion play 'Baba Is You' and he just would not GET how easy it is to solve that level, so I just gave up and bought the game myself and beat it."
"Yeah dude, I almost broke my screen, screaming the answer at him, and got the game too."
"It's like The Northernlion Effect or something, it keeps happening every time I watch him play a game."

The Mandela Effect Effect

Due to the Mandela Effect which was popularized in 2010 people discovered Nelson Mandela was actually alive and did not die in prison in the 1980s. He later did die in 2013. Because the Mandela Effect is more commonly known than the effect's namesake, many people believe he is still alive.
