sniff down

When someone smells their significant other all over to see if they've been cheating (coming home with another man's cologne or woman's perfume on them). Can also mean when your dog senses you've been around other dogs- they will give you a "sniff down" when you come home.

Heidi gave Steven a sniff down when he got back from the bar last night.

When a smelly odor tends to linger without being able to detect the source of the stank thus leading you on a search using your nose to locate the source of the smell.

Damn last night I woke up 3 times to go on a sniff and search, later found out Cindy feed the pups taco bell with fire sauce they slept under the bed passing gas all night.

Shifty Nut

A shifty nut is when your ball bag is unexpectedly exposed from its garment.

When you're taking a family photo and grandma says "Ooo what's that?" And the grandson replies, "that's a shifty nut grandma, hanging out the bottom of my shorts"

The phrase that you say when referring to work in a non-ironic way. On completion of said phrase, the speaker (and possibly those within earshot) immediately cease to listen and concentrate on what the phrase itself means. This process generally includes context abuse, giggling, and later, regret.

"I'm sort of a bridge shift between liasons."
