In reference to when character Tim Whatley gave George a donation card in his name to the "Childrens Alliance" after George had given him Yankees tickets.

2) The action of giving a useless gift to someone you have given a highly valued or expensive gift.

Fred: So what are getting Tom for his birthday?

Bill: Well, I'm really short of money this month so I'm thinking of just pulling a Whatley.
