Noun. A Professional's way of explaining mannerisms displayed when discussing the current role's challenges that may seem less than professional on the surface. Still, it is borne of that professional's experiences and is used to highlight those challenges without sounding overly formal.
"Oh? Jack's highly professional normally when he's dealing with clients, but in the lunch room he slips into trench talk with the new hires."
