A traditional Woodchuck food found mainly in Vermont but found in other northern New England areas and in Quebec by other names. Sugar on snow is when you boil maple sugar but not long enough for it to become maple candies and then pour it onto snow so becomes this soft candy substance.
During the spring months when the sap is flowing, sugar on snow parties are held. In Stowe Vermont the Sugar Slalom is a traditional event held every April for over 70 years as a ceremonial wrap up to the ski racing season and the ski season as a whole where sugar on snow is served in large quantities.

There's nothing like finishing off a perfect powder day with a sugar on snow party! (because fresh powder makes the best sugar on snow)
Hey kids after practice if you're good we'll make sugar on
snow!
those silly flat landers are trying to make sugar on snow with Aunt Jemima

Amelia was out playing in the snow. Currently it’s snow and freezing rain. She started banging in the door.
Amelia (age 7): “Mom. I might be fatly injured.”
Me: “Fatally you mean? What happened?”
Amelia: “I was hit by a snow wave. Hard.”
Me: “What’s a snow wave?”
Amelia: “It’s when the snow slaps you into the face!”
Me: “Did you fall in it?”
Amelia: “No. I was hit by a snow wave I said.”
Me: “I guess I still don’t understand what a snow wave is. Tell me how it happened.”
“I was minding my own business and trying to ride a scooter in the deep snow. It wasn’t working very good. Then a snow wave came up and smacked me right in the face! ”
And now you know what it is called when blowing snow goes into your face.

A really awesome lake with cool cabin communities where lots of teens go on holidays. It is a place where the number one game is seven minutes in heavan, and getting molested by an 12 yr old happens daily. Kids go to their houses and drink and make out while their parents are at a camp fire. All the guys and girls are really hot and its the best lake ever.
