this form of hardcore dance was started in 2006 by the keyboardist of the former grindcore/indie band SUBURBAN SEARCH PARTY.

hardcore

A style of rock that originated as a variation of punk rock in the late 70s/early 80s. This variation was a harder, heavier version of punk. It is a largely underground genre of rock. Most of the greatest hardcore bands were in the mid-80s.

Rise Against is an example of modern hardcore, whereas Atreyu is mistakenly labelled hardcore.

Black Flag was one of the first hardcore bands.

Hardcore Dancing

A type of dance performed at non-punk hardcore shows. It involves violent FLAILING of the arms and legs with no reguard to your friends around you. It was developed to blatantly show you do not belong in the punk subculture and have no roots to it. It is used by kids who are too stupid to learn to skank or circle pit properly. Its not cool in any way and a year later when you "grow out" of whatever fad is big in hardcore, you realize how much of an ass you looked like the whole time. The typical person hardcore dancing is one of the older members of the scene who played in a band but they left the fad and he remains. He doesn't have anything going for him and really only dances to try and impress the young and impressionable girls at the shows. A grade A loser fashion Dance.

Good thing we dont go to those lame punk shows where everyones friends and have a good time. All the big bands said its dead anyway. By the way my moms ordering me a hockey mask soon for shows. She says I have to get a job before I turn 23 next month or I cant have it though. And I cant bring home any more 15 year old girls after 9:30 on weeknights. Other than that I love my life."

hardcore dancing is done at hardcore or metalcore shows. A very fast and energetic type of dance, that has many varients.
2-step-when you flail your arms and put one foot in front of the other, usually done not moving
windmill-when you plant your feet and swing your arms fast during a breakdown
spin kick- very fast spin of the body where you shoot your leg out after the first 180
some people on the outside of the pit like to lean in and do one armed windmills/

Hardcore Gamer

Individuals who put a large amount of time into playing video games; this is what most people refer to as a "true gamer." Contrary to popular belief, hardcore gamers are not people who only play games with extreme violence and gore; hardcore gamers prefer to play games from different genres and franchises. They also feel that gameplay in a video game is the most important aspect of any game; as long as the game is fun (meaning difficulty and graphics don't matter), they will continue playing it. The complete opposite of a hardcore gamer is the "casual gamer."

Gamer 1: Welcome to the gamer's club, what do you play?

Gamer 2: I've been playing Call of Duty ever since it came out; they new one's going to be epic!

Gamer 1: Lol! Your a fucking casual, gtfo! How can you stand that shitty gameplay and those less than impressive graphics; never talk to us hardcore gamers ever again!

hardcore dancing

fighting with the invisible ninjas all around you. This is done to bands such as terror, e-town concrete, unearth, and bands that yell a lot.

jeez, i went to the e-town concrete show last night, and i got kicked in the stomach by a skinny kid wearing girl pants, and a red bandanna like a cowboy, and a army hat, and a shirt way too small for him. I then went into the pit, hardcore danced for a bit, then simply punched him in the face and walked out.

point proven? hardcore dancing is fun until you get hurt.
