lane 3

the lane on a swim team in which the talented but lazy swimmers go. not quite hard core enough for lane 1 or hard working enough for lane 2, but better than lanes 4-6.

could go to state if they did their full sets, but they're too laid back. lane three is a good time typically full of chill people and one person who swims on the wrong side of the lane or attempts to wound others.

Coach: You know, you could go to state.
Swimmer: Nah, that's okay. I'm too used to lane 3.

3 boy crisis

When you have a boyfriend, make a new friend then they tell you they like you. You have to choose, while thinking an old friend (who is also your first love, and before that your best friend) comes back to talk. They ask you about love advice then after a while of small talk you tell them what's going on. You say things like you'll be alone because you'll screw it all up. After a while he tells you he loves you, you respond as a friend. He tells you no like I did before. Now you're stuck choosing between your current boyfriend, your new bestfriend, or your ex boyfriend who you took forever to get over and now question if you really did. This happens when you fall for 3 people at once.

I am not having a life crisis, Conner said he loves me, Zander is freaking out, and Kris came back and is stepping up. Three boys, and I dont know if I can choose. I'm living a 3 boy crisis.
