stubbin'

The act of approaching the ticket vendor at an AMC theaters and gaining credit on your "Stubz" rewards card for not only yourself but your friends and perhaps several strangers as well. This act is then repeated at the snack bar. The Stubz card is an absolute rip-off (costs $24 to become a member) and you may only hope to break even if you frequent the movies (AMC only) and gain credit towards a free ticket after spending an exorbitant amount of money at the theater already. Avoid becoming a member at all costs and be willing to help out someone who is looking to gain credit on their card by swiping before purchasing a ticket.

Jamal the AMC crackhead: Dude, u got yo Stubz?
William: No, what is this shit?
Jamal the AMC crackhead: Yo dude, check it, its a rewards program!
William: Ok, sign me up?
...
William: 24 fuckin dollars? This shit is ridiculous, i better be stubbin' before I really lose on this one!

Dan: Yes, I am a preferred member of the AMC theaters community. I would like to swipe this damn Stubz card for myself and my friends.
Mike the theater guy: Ok, whatever...
Dan: and everyone else in line, or else it would take me years to make this card worth it...
Mike the theater guy: Fuck now! I cant do this shit, but yeah that cards such a scam I'll do it for you...
Dan: Thats right, I'm straight stubbin' now.

Robert: I'll take some reese's pieces...
Asia the snack ho: Ok that comes to--
