The phrase “Qualcomm 3G CDMA” (sometimes “Digital by Qualcomm”) can be seen as a sticker on the back or side of your phone, or embedded into the battery cover. If your phone had this sticker, you had a good phone.

Some notable phones that had something like this were the Kyocera Kona, LG Cosmos Touch, LG Vortex, and the Kyocera DuraXV.
