Passport Bro, knowing the truth deep down, resorts to ego-protective cope for why he failed to find a girl at home, such as "Western women have extraordinary demands" (like being taken seriously) or that women from wealthy countries are gold diggers (ignoring warning signs that his EE girlfriend is just that). He will spend much of his life with "multicultural challenges" - shallow conversations with a foreign-language wife, families unable to communicate, or his stepmother's borscht.
