Tokio Hotel

"nostalgia band" for mostly millennials.

They started off as a punk band, Devilish and had a (demo) album. They started to get big after (most known for) "durch den monsun" (2005). They released "Schrei" and ended up getting international success. They started getting a lot of english speaking fans so they re-recorded the album in english ("scream"). After a stalking problem the twins moved to America. The other members live in Germany. They had pretty consistent success until the middle 2010s when they got a new look and a lot of their fans didn't respond well. Even with their decline in popularity they still release music. They've gotten tons of music awards all over the world.

Notable things:
-Members Tom and Bill are (identical) twins

they also don't have middle names.
- Their sensitive lyrics and flamboyant heartthrob singer, gained them a dedicated fanbase of mostly rabid teen girls. As a result of this audience their is a prominent twincest ship and their has been a lot of bad fanfiction brought into the world.
-they were widely criticized for their looks
