Le Mat (Sometimes known as "Le Fou") is the name seen for "The Fool"'s tarot card in the Tarot of Marseilles, which is a deck of tarot cards made in France around the 17th century, in (you guessed it!) Marseilles. It comes from the Italian words: "Il Matto", literally meaning something along the lines of "The Madman".
The character arcana in the Persona series for Igor is The Fool. When you look closely at the assigned card, you will see that it says "Le Mat" on there.

"Mat Rempit" refers to young, typically male, individuals who engage in illegal and dangerous motorcycle activities like street racing, stunt biking, and public disturbances. They are known for reckless riding, often breaking traffic laws and engaging in activities like "cilok" (weaving between traffic) and "Superman" stunts (lying flat on the seat while riding). The term "Mat" refers to a male person, and "Rempit" signifies driving a motorcycle in a fast and reckless manner.
