A butchering and mispronunciation of the word Chode. The word originated in 2009 when content creator JoshTheBear’s brother called a kid a chode in middle school and an Indian kid misheard what he said and asked “what is it a chud?”. The word was then heavily used by Rocket League streamer DunderWhiffin from its origination in 2009 until it gained mainstream use in 2025.
