It's a desperate attempt to attract those possibly interested in being in a relationship. They appear attractive online through their social media platforms but look totally different in person.

That girl Lori was catfish because she looked hot AF on Facebook and Instagram but in person it was rather obvious that she altered her online pictures to attract others towards her.

Catfish findom means that “Dommes” like @findomgang_ on Twitter/X uses models anyone can find on the internet for free and scam stupid, desperate, and lonely men for millions and millions of dollars without having to break a single drop of sweat.

I found a domme named @findomgang_ who is a catfish findom account, and she drained me of thousands and thosands of my hard earned money which I willingly gave up to her superiority.
