A title for anyone that is not your biological brother. If you use this on your own brother than you have ruined the meaning of life and you must be shamed.

"Bro" is a common word for "person" not specified with gender. It comes from the word "Broke" not to be confused with the word "Brother".

The word "Bro" started out from two people talking about being broke and one chocked while trying to say the word "Broke." So therefore, the word "Bro" has been invented.

Person 1: "Sup man! Got any money?"
Person 2: "Naw man, I'm bro-" *cough cough*
Person 1: "Oh nice to meet you, Bro!"

This is a term that has been as you would say "killed" by the upcoming race of "Barseegs". The Word "bro" has lost its meaning, now it means frankly "ANYONE". You can say bro to whoever the fuck you want, and as long as they are "barsgahye" dey will understand where you are coming from.
