When you are walking past two or more people having a conversation, and not knowing the context, often perceive it as inappropriate or funny.

Conversational Archeology

Refers to the act of tracing the origins of a long and rambling, possibly stoned conversation. The act of re-tracing generally occurs when there are three or more individuals in the conversation - and the rambling arrives at an obscure and perhaps unnatural topic.
