A delicious, nutritious and convenient food consisting of cooked navy beans in a sauce. Often sold in tins that, when full, can also be used as weapons which people's skulls can be smashed open with.

An old British expression, used in the context "he knows how many beans make five", meaning "he knows his stuff" or referring to one who's good at mathematical puzzlers. Derives from the days of the abacus, when the wooden beads (beans) were moved along in various increments.

Derived from bean - the term of endearment - beansprout refers to said individual when they were younger. This can also refer to a bean who is younger than you.
