Get the pitch a wobbly mug.A mechanic in a fighting game, often an advanced hard to do one, that renders the opposing player unable to move or do anything to defend themselves. Wobbling is typically done by exploiting one or two specific moves in a way the developers didn’t intend. Examples of wobbling are the ice climbers grab combo wobble in super smash bros melee/brawl and much more recently Isabelle’s jab wobble. Although wobbling is a slang term usually heard in the super smash bros. community it’s not exclusive to it as likely any fighting game player would know. An example of wobbling outside of super smash bros. would be Ibuki in street fighter III who apparently had multiple kick combos that could wobble.
