(phrasal verb) <to deep scroll>, to become so absorbed in scrolling through your news-feed that you keep of scrolling even without reason. When a person 'deep-scrolls' they often become unaware of their surroundings and 'zone-out. Deep-scrolling is done without clicking on extra links and is the continual, somewhat involuntary action of scrolling on a device through a social media page.
I'm sorry I'm late, I started deep-scrolling and lost track of time.
I'm so tired when I get home from work that all I do is deep scroll.
