Get the Best Friend Forever mug.A Best Friend + is someone who you consider to be one of the most trustworthy individuals you know. You feel that the bond you share is greater than anything else you know. The Best Friend + can be male on male, or female on female, but is generally and almost exclusively male on female.
Similar to "friends with benefits" the Best Friend + can and usually will incorporate some level of sexual emotion and intimacy. However, unlike "friends with benefits" sexual intercourse will not be had. If Best Friends + engage in sexual intercourse, they will no longer be referred to as Best Friends +, but rather as "friends with benefits" or "fuck buddies"
